The Role:

We’re looking for a detail-driven and commercially minded Junior Finance Business Partner to join a collaborative finance team supporting a large network of sites across Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional ready to step into a more dynamic, business-facing role. You’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio, deliver high-quality financial insights, and work closely with a range of internal stakeholders across departments.

We’re seeking someone with:

• 3+ years' experience in a financial accounting or business services role.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles, GST, and financial reporting.
• Degree-qualified in Accounting or a related discipline; CA/CPA preferred but not essential.
• Strong Excel skills; experience using cloud-based ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) is a plus.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet regular reporting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working across multi-site, multi-entity, or service-based environments is desirable.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in helping improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver timely, accurate monthly financial reports for a designated portfolio of business units.
• Act as the key point of contact for day-to-day financial queries, ensuring clear communication and reliable support.
• Prepare and lodge BAS and other periodic tax submissions.
• Review financial performance and provide value-adding commentary to relevant stakeholders.
• Work with other departments (operations, IT, legal, etc.) to support the smooth delivery of finance services.
• Supervise the workflow of one or two assistant accountants (based locally or remotely), ensuring output meets required standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance systems and processes, including reporting tools and automation.
• Assist with internal training and system onboarding for new business units or team members.
