About the Position

DTS has an exciting opportunity for an Purchasing team member to join our dynamic team at our premises in Maddington WA. You will be responsible for a diverse range of support functions including purchasing, inventory management, sourcing and supplier relations.

The role will be hands on, fast paced and working in a close team environment.

To excel in this role, you will need to be highly motivated to build solid working relationships with our internal sales team, suppliers and support the initiatives driven by management.

Most of all we seek a self-motivated person that demonstrates commitment, attention to detail and wants more than a job.

Someone who is well presented, energetic and looking for a long-term role.

Hours - 5 Days a week Monday - Friday. 7.30am to 5.00pm.

Skills:

Outstanding communications skills with excellent command of written English.

Customer service.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Fast typing speed with accuracy.

Ability to perform high volume data entry in an accurate timely manner.

Organisation skills and can prioritize.

Time Management.

Attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Meeting with sales reps and discussing orders.

Discussing stock requirements with GM team.

Uploading and processing purchase orders based on business requirements.

Liaising with sales staff to process stock orders.

Monitoring stock levels.

To be successful for this position, the applicant will ideally possess the following:

Driver’s license.

5 years experience in a similar position.

The ability to work in a team environment.

Honest and Reliable

Ability to multi-task.

Able to work in a Fast Paced Environment

Positive attitude and common sense approach to tasks.
