A bit about Tuscan Blinds.

Tuscan Blinds was established in 2012 and has continued to grow each year. We are committed to making our customers beyond happy with their product and proudly boast about our flexible work life attitude and balance.

It’s an exciting time because after 10 years we are expanding and looking to have a new fitter join our team.

Our ideal candidate doesn’t necessarily have to have experience in window furnishings, as we provide hands on training with our people however must embody our passion for customers, take pride in their work, and follow through with promises and commitments.

Qualifications and experience:

• Previous experience within window furnishing and fittings is preferred however not mandatory as training will be provided.
• Strong written and verbal communication is a must.
• Being able to follow through with our promises to our customers is extremely important in our line of work. The successful candidate must be able to communicate both to Tuscan Blinds staff, suppliers, and customers with respect and with a high sense of urgency.
• Trusted to work independently in the field.
• Component in tool use.
• High attention to detail and organisation.
• Willing to learn and not be afraid to ask for help when unsure.
• Able to problem solve and think outside the box to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Commitment to helping drive our passion for high customer service.
• Driver’s license.
• Ability to apply for a Blue Card.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Installing window furnishings which will include Curtains, Blinds (manual and motorised), and Shutters.
• Measure jobs ensuring that we record the correct sizes to provide back to our office team to quote in a timely manner for our customers.
• Positive and respectful attitude towards all Tuscan Blinds Staff, Distributors, Clients, and Customers.
• Working a 38-hour week (could vary between 6am-9am start but notice will be given)
• Travelling between Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.
