About the role
Performance Plus Healthcare is seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our growing team in Rowville, VIC. As a part-time Exercise Physiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality exercise therapy and rehabilitation services to our diverse client base. Your expertise and passion for helping people improve their health and wellbeing will be essential to the success of this position. This role will have the opportunity to grow into a full time position.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualised exercise programs for clients with a range of conditions and injuries

Develop a diabetes group exercise class and work with educators to implement

Develop and deliver other one-on-one and group exercise therapy sessions, tailored to each client's needs and goals using our gym facility

Monitor client progress and adjust exercise programs as required to ensure optimal outcomes

Educate clients on the benefits of exercise, healthy lifestyle habits, and self-management techniques

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients

Maintain detailed client records and documentation in accordance with professional standards

Develop social media strategies to promote EP services at the clinic

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology

Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)

Strong clinical assessment and exercise prescription skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
