We're seeking a loving, fun, nurturing and experienced Nanny to join our family in Caulfield, with an immediate start.

You will be looking after a hilarious, curious, sweet and social toddler (18 months old) and become part of our family.

We’re looking for someone passionate about kids, who brings whole-heartedness, joy, fun, playfulness, silliness, warmth, and a deep capactiy for nurturing while also being a clear and sturdy leader. At the same time you bring loving presence and and a willingness to listen to and hold space for our daughter’s full range of emotions (including listenging to her cry if she needs to release some emotions and sitting with her with love and presence while she does this). You have a profound respect for children and know how to communicate with children as well as with us, observing, reflecting, sharing and discussing comes naturally to you. Equally you are responsible, proactive and enjoy being organized and helping around the house, you see your role as supporting us wherever possible, and there is no task too big or too small.

Hours are approximately 8/8:30am - 4pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and potentially more hours (tbd re Tuesday's - can be a half day, or full day off).

Position to start ASAP and to run through Feb 2026, with additional work possible in 2026 in a different constellation.

Requirements

Experience caring for babies and toddlers

First Aid Certificate

Valid working with children and police check

Driver's license and car

Experience and References from similar positions

A warm, loving, caring, patient and proactive approach and interest in learning more about and embodying RIE and Aware parenting approaches

Remuneration and conditions

$33-40 per hour depending on experience

Continuous ongoing work
