About the role

Join the team at Avoca Lighting as a full-time Sales Assistant. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to be part of a leading retailer of premium home lighting products. Based in Kincumber, NSW, you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience and contributing to the overall success of the business.

35hr week (4.5 Day Week)

Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

Saturday 9am to 1pm

What you'll be doing

Provide friendly, knowledgeable and personalized customer service

Assist customers in finding the perfect lighting solutions for their needs

Maintain excellent product knowledge to offer tailored recommendations

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

Ensure the store is well-presented and merchandised to company standards

Daily stock replenishment and order fulfilment.

Attending customer enquiries via email and phone.

What we're looking for

Previous retail or customer service experience (no lighting experience required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base

Enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Basic computer skills to facilitate normal retail operations: Microsoft Windows, Gmail, Excel
