About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated team member to join our friendly and hardworking team at BOC Wagga Gas & Gear. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where no two days are the same.

In this diverse, hands-on role, you'll engage with a wide range of customers-from tradies to industrial clients-while promoting our full range of gas, welding, and safety products. You'll be involved in sales, customer service, warehousing, and product demonstrations, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a broad skillset.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales
• Handle counter, phone and email sales enquiries
• Assist customers with product advice and support
• Promote and upsell gas, welding, and industrial equipment

Warehousing

• Receive and process incoming stock
• Pick and pack outgoing deliveries
• Maintain inventory and in-store displays

Yard Work

• Operate in the gas yard, managing gas cylinders
• Conduct safe manual handling of heavy items
• A forklift licence is favourable, but not essential

About You

We're open to applicants with no prior experience if you show the right attitude and potential.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is hardworking, reliable, and conscientious
• Enjoys working in a customer-facing role
• Has good verbal and written communication skills
• Is comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks
• Has basic computer literacy and good time management

Highly regarded but not essential:

• Forklift licence
• Welding knowledge or experience
• Retail experience (any type)
• Familiarity with industrial equipment or tools
