Amarapave is a purpose led asphalt paving company working on some of Victoria’s major infrastructure projects. We are here to do high quality work and build a high quality crew, one that reflects the communities we live in and opens the door to people often left out of the trade.

We are looking for a Level Hand with solid experience in asphalt. Someone who knows how to run levels, work as part of a crew, and takes pride in getting the mat right every time.

What the role looks like

You will be responsible for running levels, checking depths, and helping guide the crew to deliver a smooth and accurate finish. You will be someone the crew can rely on to get the job done properly and safely. ✅

Key responsibilities include:

Running levels and checking depths to ensure accuracy across the job

Assisting with site preparation and layout

Working closely with the paver operator and crew to keep things moving

Identifying issues early and helping correct them

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work zone

What we are looking for

We want someone with a sharp eye, steady hand, and strong experience in asphalt. You will need to read the job, work well with others, and take responsibility for getting the finish right.

This role is best suited to someone who has already worked in the industry and is confident in their skillset.
