About the role

Greenhall Asphalt is seeking an Asphalt Worker to join our team in Geelong, VIC. As a full-time Asphalt Worker, you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, and other paved surfaces. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the construction industry and a passion for hands-on work.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the loading, unloading, and transport of asphalt materials

Operating heavy machinery and equipment, such as asphalt spreaders and rollers

Performing manual labour tasks, including raking, shovelling, and tamping asphalt

Ensuring the job site is safe and follows all relevant health and safety regulations

Collaborating with the team to complete projects on time and to a high standard

Participating in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Previous experience in the construction industry, with a focus on asphalt work

Demonstrated proficiency in operating heavy machinery and equipment

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites as required
