Safemaster Safety Products Pty Ltd, T/As Accent Safety Systems offers a complete range of fall prevention solutions for any bespoke height safety project on ‘end to end’ life cycle including consultation, design/engineering, manufacture, installation and recertification services.

About the role

This is permanent full time position, with paid overtime available for an immediate start for the right candidate. You would be working as laborers assistant with our Height Safety System Installers. Some travel may be involved with this position on a NON-regular basis and all relevant penalties and expenses would be provided.

Benefits and perks

We offer an attractive hourly rate of $35 per hour plus relevant applicable overtime rates, all other standard benefits and entitlements are paid as per legislation requirements such as Superannuation, Annual Leave, long service leave and sick leave. We generally have a 2 week Christmas closure give or take 1-2 days depending on how the dates fall every year so you would always be there with your family over the holiday period.

Uniforms, Tools and relevant safety equipment to support the position will be provided.

It is essential due to the industry that ALL employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and can provide supporting documentation as this is a requirement to work on any sites with Building and Construction Industry.

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate may not have any experience however any carpentry, and/or other skills obtained working within any of the fields below would be advantageous. Again, no specific qualifications required and we will look at all applications. Required training will be provided on site working with our qualified installers:

• Commercial Height Safety
• Commercial Roof Plumbing
• Carpentry Work
• Working at Heights
• Construction Trade Background
• Understanding of design specifications to Industry Standards

Essential requirements:

• Drivers License, own vehicle not essential but must be able to make own way to main office in Ravenhall for start 6.00 am daily.
• Must be fully Vaccinated for COVID-19
• Must be able to pass full medical and random drug & alcohol testing.

The below essential requirements will be paid for and time to complete will be provided by the company:

• White card
• Ability to pass working with children and police check (current would be an advantage but not required)
• Site specific Inductions where required

Other training will be provided in the below listed areas where you will be trained and obtain relevant certified qualifications:

• Certified working at heights certificate
• Certification to operate EWP/Boom lift operator when required
