An exciting, fixed term, full-time opportunity exists for a Family Violence Practice Lead in Clinical Oversight and Rehabilitation based in Melbourne.

The Opportunity

VPS Grade 5 role: $113,022 - $136,747 per year plus superannuation.

Model and support family violence screening, risk assessment and management strategies aligned to the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management framework including the use of Structured Professional Judgement and evidence-based risk factors.

Conduct primary consultation to manage the needs of victim survivors and young people using family violence.

Provide on-site, case-based secondary consultation and advice on evidence-based family violence best practice.

Cofacilitate YJ family violence training, contributing to Communities of Practice (CoPs) or events and identifying professional development opportunities in response to operational and young people needs

To be successful in this role you will have experience working with:

Family violence victim survivors and/or perpetrators, including understanding of the MARAM framework, FVISS and CISS, and family violence services.

Adolescents and children, including an understanding of the Child Protection and Youth Justice systems, and the interrelation between family violence and adolescent offending risk.

You will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check, which you will need to maintain for the period of employment.
