We’re looking for a journalist to come and join us at our busy and innovative newspaper in one of Australia’s iconic regional areas.

We are independently owned and have been the voice of the Broken Hill community since starting up in October 2024.

Broken Hill Times is published in print once a week as well as digital stories uploaded each day and important breaking news online as it occurs

This is a full-time position based in Broken Hill and may include rostered shifts on weekends and public holidays on occasion.

This is a full-time position based in Broken Hill and may include rostered shifts on weekends and public holidays on occasion. The salary package will be based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

Editorial staff are employed under a workplace agreement with a base salary above the award minimum.
