A bit about the role…
The Education Futures team drives the expansion and evolution of the BUSY model of education—pioneering innovative pathways that re-engage at-risk and disengaged students both nationally and abroad. With a strong focus on growth, diversification, and adaptability, the team identifies and activates educational opportunities across emerging and multi-jurisdictional markets.
This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and scaling our educational footprint across domestic and international landscapes. With a sharp focus on strategic development, it will lead initiatives that support the accreditation and implementation of the BUSY model in new regions, ensuring alignment with regulatory, legal, and compliance frameworks.
The position will champion discovery, research, market analysis and strategic application—delivering forward-thinking advice and practical solutions that unlock potential across evolving education sectors. It will also guide the successful navigation of complex school accreditation processes, including policy development, regulatory compliance, and multi-jurisdictional governance.
This role is permanent full time, based in Southport in a hybrid model.

A bit about your experience…
- Strong research, analytical, and data interpretation skills across complex, multi-jurisdictional educational and regulatory environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex educational projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of alternative and trauma-informed education models, particularly for at-risk and disengaged students.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and contingency planning.
- Strong decision-making and critical thinking capabilities, including risk management, mitigation, and performance improvement.
- Solid understanding of the education industry, including business context, market trends, and strategic alignment to organisational goals.
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
