About the role

Metal 21 is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid Truck Driver to join our team in Salisbury, Queensland. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating heavy rigid trucks to transport a variety of goods and materials across short and long distances

Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and compliance

Loading and unloading vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques

Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs

Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies

Providing excellent customer service and communication with clients

What we're looking for

Current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence with a strong driving record

Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy rigid vehicles in a commercial setting

Knowledge of load restraint and safe manual handling practices

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Commitment to safety and reliable attendance
