About the role

Australian Laid Concreting is seeking an experienced Mini Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. As a full-time Concrete Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to construction sites across the region.

What you'll be doing

Operate a concrete delivery truck in a safe and responsible manner

Deliver concrete to construction sites within scheduled timeframes

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition

Liaise with site supervisors and coordinate the efficient discharge of concrete

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete all required paperwork

Promote a positive safety culture and adhere to all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

A valid heavy vehicle driver's licence (class MR or higher)

Previous experience as a concrete truck driver, preferably in the construction industry

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with site crews

Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe work practices

Good communication and problem-solving abilities

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required
