About the role

Coastal Demolitions is looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in based out of Carrara, Queensland. As a full-time Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various materials and equipment to and from worksites within the local area. This is a pivotal role in supporting our demolition and recycling operations.

What you'll be doing

Operating heavy-duty trucks and trailers to transport demolition materials, machinery, and equipment

Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and roadworthiness.

Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner

Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies

Providing excellent customer service and communication with clients and project stakeholders

Collaborating with the wider Coastal Demolitions team to ensure seamless operations

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Minimum 3 years' experience operating heavy-duty trucks and trailers

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and safe driving practices

Must pass pre employment and random drug tests.

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively

A strong focus on safety and a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation
