Our Community and Aboriginal Partnerships Division helps to build community safety and wellbeing by providing support and services to children, young people and families, including those involved with the youth justice system, remote Aboriginal communities, people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and people with complex and exceptional needs. The division also leads the department's Closing the Gap efforts.
The Programs Officer is a role within Community and Aboriginal Partnerships and is accountable to the Lead Program Officer for:
facilitating consultation and communication with government and non-government agencies to deliver and report on the Inclusion Support Program and related policy initiatives which support the Inclusion Support Program and the Exceptional Needs Unit objectives
managing funding agreements, contract and reporting arrangements for the Inclusion Support Program and related policy initiatives
establishing and building strong collaborative relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.

Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required
Must hold a current Australian issued Driver's Licence (equivalent to minimum class `C' - South Australian), which must be maintained. Incumbent must be willing and able to drive all government vehicles within their licence classification during the course of their duties
