Our client is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling. Over 75 years, they have grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations –predominately in Australia and New Zealand.

They believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. They collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industry.

Our clients plants based in Wodonga, has opportunities for Production Workers to join their team on day, afternoon, night and rotating rostered shifts.

What you’ll do:

Contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and the team

Operating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packaging

Assist with job changes and associated tasks

Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers

Housekeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team

What You Will Bring:

Be able to operate in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will be fit and healthy.

Have strong interpersonal skills (clear communication, self-confidence, teamwork and collaboration),

The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in quality control.

Most importantly is your attitude, you’ll be performance driven, be adaptable to changes in the workplace and be keen to learn new skills, processes, and procedures.

You’ll ideally have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and hands on experience operating machines.
