For the past 30 years, Signhere Signs have helped businesses across Western Australia look their absolute best! Working with some of the largest companies here in WA and nationally, we work across a variety of industries, and produce high performance solutions for corporate and private clients.
We are currently looking to add an amazing Welder & Sheet Metal Worker to join our Fabrication team.
THE POSITION:
o Welding signs from small scale light boxes to large pylons
o Custom aluminium/steel fabrication
o Interpreting technical drawings and assessing materials and tools needed to
complete the project
o Working within a highly skilled and well established team environment
o Collaborating with other departments during the manufacturing process
o Documenting and reporting material usage
o Reporting and participating in investigations and corrective actions as required
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
o Previous experience or exposure in the signage industry
o Experience working with various metals (ie. Steel, aluminium)
o Experience with metal working machinery (ie. Guillotines, drill press, rollers)
o MIG & TIG welding experience
o Some experience or knowledge with signage manufacturing beneficial
o Able to work independently and as part of a team
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
o Demonstrated experience managing projects and personal workflow
o The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
o The ability to read engineering drawings and execute accordingly
o Attention to detail with the task at hand
o The ability to work to deadlines and reprioritise if needed
o To self-motivate and show initiative with problem solving
