About the role

Edgeworkshop is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator / Work Shop Tradesman to join our team in Osborne Park, Western Australia. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the operations of our workshop, utilising your expertise in CNC machinery and general trade skills.

We would also consider someone who is willing to learn CNC operations on the job but has experience in sheet metal fabrication.

What you'll be doing

Operate CNC waterjet table machinery to produce high-quality components and finished products

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance

Read and interpret specifications to ensure accurate production

Cutting materials include (but not limited to) - aluminium, stainless steel, foam, large tiles, pavers

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in workshop & surrounds

Assist the Workshop Fabricator as required

Willingness to learn from Workshop Fabricator - press brake operation, welding & general fabrication

Off site work as required - installations

What we're looking for

Experience as a CNC Operator or similar trade role who can work independently or as a team

Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, programming, and maintenance

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Physically fit - lifting of large pavers and onsite installations will be required

Good communication and teamwork skills

Forklift license or the ability to obtain one
