Finance Business Analyst

Location: Adelaide (2 days per week in office)
Contract length: 12 months (extensions likely)
Rate: $850-900 including super, per day

Our Client

Our client is a mature organisation operating in a complex environment, but with a small and agile team. They're currently undertaking a significant systems transformation, with upcoming projects spanning procurement, finance integration and a broader end-to-end customer program.

They are looking for a Business Analyst to assist them with the tendering / RFP process for an invoice processing solution.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist with the full tendering process (RFP/RFQ) for a replacement solution to read and process invoices
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to define and document functional business requirements
• Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit and validate needs
• Navigate the functional aspects of procurement tools and vendor selection
• Ensure alignment between the new solution and existing SAP finance systems
• Support the transition into future projects focused on customer programs and end-to-end service delivery
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving in an environment without rigid processes or defined pathways

Required Experience

• Strong background in tendering processes, including writing or responding to RFPs and RFQs
• Experience in procurement, particularly with product or platform selection
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders to define functional requirements
• Hands-on experience in functional business analysis, ideally across the full project lifecycle
• Ability to thrive in complex, mid-sized organisations with minimal structure
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to wear multiple hats as needed

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to SAP Finance, particularly around integration touchpoints
• Familiarity with Service Orders and the Plant Maintenance module of SAP
• Experience on customer-facing programs or initiatives with an end-to-end service lens
