ROLE:

Working in a team within a Specialist Geotechnical civil Construction area, including but not limited to, Difficult Access Drilling systems, Telehandler drilling, hand drilling, Difficult Access assembly of rock fall protection systems., meshing, grouting and installation of ground support along with operation of Excavator drills.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Safely work within Rope Access and/or Ground Support teams.

Ensure effective communication channels are in place and working with staff on site, management.

L1, L2 and L3 Rope Access Technicians to work closely with management and their directions.

Ensure the effective execution, Installation of rockfall support mesh and accessories; Mixing grout to specification; Installation of rock bolts, Install Grout.

Ensure GSS employees are supported on the geotechnical requirements of their roles.

Ensure all GSS equipment is operated and maintained to requirements

Ensure all projects and operations are conducted in line with GSS and legislative requirements dealing with Health, Safety and Environment.

To be successful and meet the challenges of this position you must have:

Level 1,2,3 IRATA or Accredited certificate (Minimum 1-year relevant experience)

Geotechnical Experience (grouting, meshing, drilling)

Construction Card

Working at heights Card

EWP Ticket

Hold a current driver’s Licence

Truck Licence highly desirable
