JLH Excavations and Cartage is a locally owned and operated contractor, specialising in bulk earthworks, road construction, drainage, and quarrying services across Tasmania. Due to growing demand, we are seeking an experienced Grader & Excavator Operator to join our team.

About the Role:

Operate both grader and excavators across a variety of civil construction and earthworks projects

Carry out site preparation, road construction, drainage works, detailed excavation and final trim

Maintain equipment to high operational standards

Work as part of a professional, safety-focused team

Immediate start available

Key Requirements:

Proven experience operating both grader and excavators.

Final trim experience highly regarded (on both grader and excavator)

Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised

Current driver's licence (HR preferred)

White Card (Construction Induction)

Commitment to safe work practices

Current excavator ticket/VOC/RII certification

Australian work rights required

Benefits:

Excellent hourly rate: $40 to $45 per hour (dependent on experience)
