Waverley Road Dental and Swann Dentistry is looking for a part time or casual Dental Assistant with at least 2 years working experience, to join our established clinics located in Mount Waverley and Preston.

You will provide dental assisting support to our 3 dentists, hygienist and cohesive team. Work days available are between 2-4 days per week from 8.30am-5.30pm

About the role:

Suitable for an experienced applicant who is interested in dentistry and people.

Applicant needs to be someone who is accountable for their work, can multi task, enjoys looking after people and can work well within a team.

Excellent organisation, tidiness and customer service skills are required.

Days of work are flexible and open to negotiation.

To excel in this role, you will need:

Competent Dental Assisting Skills in all general dentistry procedures and oral surgery

To hold a Certificate III qualification, and demonstrated knowledge of current sterilisation infection control protocols

Experience with D4W is preferred.

Ability to perform basic reception skills - answering phone and processing payments

To thrive in a busy environment as well as have initiative to support your colleagues

Be capable of multi-tasking, is willing to improve with training and is a fast learner

The ability to build rapport with people in a cheerful, engaging manner

A proven track record of reliability, honesty and punctuality

Good time management skills and be highly organised

To be able to work well in a team and be willing to contribute positively towards managing our loyal patient base.

Carparking and public transport are nearby. Immediate start available. Days of work are negotiable, ideally 2-3 days per week. Casual or Part time work hours available.
