The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Financial Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, global-facing environment and is ready to make an impact across hedge accounting, inventory, tax, and financial reporting functions. The responsibilities of your role will include but not be limited to the following.

• Oversee and reconcile inventory movements in D365, manage inventory close, and ensure accurate absorption costing and reclassifications.
• Maintain costing compliance and lead cost updates for manufacturing inputs.
• Review and lodge BAS and GST returns, prepare income tax calculations and French GAAP tax schedules.
• Prepare and analyze restatements
• Reconcile retained earnings, and manage the IFRS-to-French GAAP reporting bridge.
• Prepare foreign currency exposure reports, hedge designations, reconciliations, and valuation reviews.
• Analyze and post hedge-related journal entries and FX gains/losses.
• Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Financial Controller

The Candidate
CA/CPA qualified, you will be a high-calibre and experience accountant, with expertise in hedge and inventory accounting, foreign exchange, and tax compliance—ideally within a multinational or manufacturing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Dynamics 365, with a strong ability to manage priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver accurate results and be a motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills.
