About the role

Gardel Electrical Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced PV + BESS System Designer and Sales professional to join our team. This full-time role is based in Yeerongpilly, Queensland and will involve designing and selling tailored solar and battery storage solutions to residential customers.

What you'll be doing

Conducting site assessments and analysing customer energy usage to design optimal PV and battery storage systems

Preparing detailed system proposals and quotes for customers

Liaising with customers to understand their energy needs and recommend the best solution

Overseeing the installation and commissioning of PV and battery storage systems

Providing technical support and ongoing maintenance advice to customers

Identifying new business opportunities and generating sales leads

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, technologies and market trends

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Electrical or a related technical discipline

Proven experience in designing and sizing PV and battery storage systems for residential applications

Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to optimise system designs for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, regulations and safety requirements

A self-motivated, proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
