🛠 The Role

Position: Experienced Kitchen Designer / Sales Consultant
Location: Capalaba, Brisbane
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00 am–3:30 pm or 9:00 am–5:00 pm; Friday 7:00 am–1:30 pm (38-hour week + overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and lifestyle needs, providing expert advice and recommendations.

Design Development: Create detailed kitchen layouts, 3D models, and renderings using design software cabinet vision & vorket spaces

Material Selection: Advise clients on appropriate materials, finishes, fixtures, and appliances that fit within their budget and design vision.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.

Budget Management: Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets, ensuring designs are delivered within financial parameters.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the project, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.

Proficiency in kitchen design software Cabinet Vision & Vorket Spaces.

Strong understanding of kitchen ergonomics, spatial planning, and current design trends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in designs and specifications.

Ability to identify design challenges and develop creative solutions.
