Turn The Corner is a high-quality, private billing family medical clinic operating out of architect-designed, purpose-built facilities in Northcote, Brunswick and Fairfield. We are seeking a registered or enrolled nurse with strong primary care experience looking to work about 20 hours a week.

You are looking for a clinic that allows you to practice to the limit of your licence but that has your back when it is needed. Somewhere that your ideas are heard and appreciated. You want to work in a modern clinic with excellent facilities as part of a strong, capable, collegiate team.

We are seeking a confident nurse with attention to detail and initiative, and who has good time management skills. You will have a thorough understanding of general practice nursing and specific experience in the field – ideally at least 3 years’. You will be registered with AHPRA, confident supporting doctors with IUD, iron infusion and skin procedures, and have all the required immunisation certificates. You have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to manage the expectations of patients and clinicians in an empathetic, constructive way.

We are quite flexible in respect of the sessions that you would work. It might be 2 full weekdays a week, or 4 or 5 mornings/afternoons… or even sessions from 1000-1500, for example. You would often work as the second nurse in our Northcote clinic but when the regular nurse in either Brunswick or Fairfield is on leave, you would work there instead. It is therefore imperative that you have your own transport and are willing to work across our 3 locations as required. Ideally, you would have some capacity to flex your hours up a bit when you are covering those periods of annual leave in the Brunswick or Fairfield clinics.
