About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Officer to join this government agency. This role is responsible for entering, verifying, and reconciling waste service data to ensure accuracy and support efficient service delivery.

Key accountabilities include:

• Accurately maintain and update waste service data in internal systems.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies through phone and email follow-ups.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify service details.
• Ensure data integrity by following established procedures and workflows.
• Manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with professionalism.
• Conduct field audits of waste bins as needed to verify data accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure efficient task completion.

About You

• Current NSW Driver License required.
• Proven attention to detail and high data accuracy.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Experience with data systems and Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Previous experience in waste services or local government is desirable
