FIFO from Perth | Rosters Ranging from 8/6 to 12/9 | WA's Northwest

Pro West Electrical is seeking qualified and experienced FIFO Electricians to join our team on a variety of industrial construction projects across Western Australia’s northwest mining region. These site-based roles involve the installation, integration, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems within complex process infrastructure supporting mining, energy, and resource operations.

Rosters available range from 8/6 to 12/9, depending on the site and project phase.

About the Role

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be a critical part of our construction delivery team. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing hands-on electrical and instrumentation support for active construction projects.

Fabricating and installing cable ladder systems (tray supports, brackets, racking).

Installing industrial steel conduit systems.

Assisting with cable pulling, landing, glanding, and terminations.

Supporting Stage 1 & 2 commissioning and pre-commissioning activities.

Ensuring compliance with statutory electrical requirements.

Performing maintenance, inspections, testing, and calibration of fixed plant E&I equipment.

Troubleshooting and executing structured repairs.

Installing, modifying, and commissioning control, instrument, and electrical systems to standard.

Conducting plant and equipment isolations.

Maintaining strong safety and housekeeping standards.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical License

C or MR Class Australian Driver's License

Understanding of Australian Electrical Standards and wiring rules (AS/NZS 3000)

Working at Heights & EWP

Construction White Card

LVR/CPR Certification

First Aid Certification

Police Clearance

Australian Citizenship or valid work rights

Desirable:

Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation

Experience in fixed plant environments (e.g., processing, chemical, or refinery)

HV Switching Certification

Knowledge of DCS and SCADA systems

Forklift Licence
