Job Description

Duties include:

Performing installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, refrigeration maintenance, aircon & all electrical systems.

This involves interpreting electrical code specifications, meeting safety codes, and working with vendors & carrying out deep cleaning of all aircons & reefers on site.

Responsible for all site maintenance and electrical inspections / repairs as instructed by the Client and / or FM Supervisor via work order system.

Troubleshoot and test electrical equipment

Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations

Perform computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment

Troubleshoot faults in electrical systems

Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area

Work with electrical contractors and outside vendors to obtain quotes and proposal for electrical work

Recommend supplies and equipment for purchase and maintain the inventory of equipment and supplies

To complete and record regular inspections and tagging of electrical equipment when requested.

To maintain equipment, including washing machines, kitchen equipment and all other electrical equipment within the village grounds.

Qualifications

The following (current) prerequisite training requirements apply to this role:

Electrical Tradespersons License

MSIC

LV CPR

BOSIET w/CAEBs

Police clearance

Cert 3 In Air Conditioning and Refrigeration UEE32211

C class Drivers Licence

You will be required to undertake and successfully complete a site-specific medical including drug & alcohol screening, induction, permit to work training, competent electrical person and isolating authority as per site access requirements.
