Established in 2003, Designer Chandelier offers Australia's largest independent collection of premium crystal chandeliers nationally. We quickly acquired a reputation for selling exceptional products direct to trade & public customers for affordable pricing.

We are a close-knit team, who take immense pride in delivering high quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a like minded individual to join us as we continue to grow our business in Geelong and nationally.

The role is based at our showroom/warehouse in North Geelong.

We are looking for either:

2 x Part time Sale Assistants (2-3 days per week, part time salary will be pro-rata) OR

1 x Full time Sales Assistant (5 days per week)

Weekend shift essential

Our Sales Assistant will be responsible for:

Providing exceptional customer service to our growing customer base

Providing quotes and processing payments

Dealing with trade and end user customers

Answering customer queries and general enquiries

Showroom merchandising

The Successful Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A bright and bubbly personality who wishes to learn and prosper

Minimum 2 years’ face-to-face' customer service / retail experience (ideally in a lighting and/or homewares background), but not limited too

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High level of attention to detail

Willingness to learn new processes

Experience using online systems, including email and online POS

Reliable and flexible with weekends and a positive outlook
