About the Role

McArthur is proud to partner with a newly established government-funded early learning service in Murtoa. We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Room Leader with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a strong commitment to quality, inclusion, and leadership. You will play a vital role in the successful delivery of an educational program that meets the needs of children, families, and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality, play-based learning

Implement and evaluate educational programs aligned with VEYLDF and NQF

Maintain compliance with all regulations and child safety standards

Establish respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of reflective practice

What We're Looking For

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

Demonstrated experience in a Room Leader or leadership role in early learning

Sound knowledge of VEYLDF, NQF, Education and Care Law and Regulations

Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

Valid Employee Working With Children Check

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications

Willingness to undergo police checks (including international if applicable)

Experience supporting vulnerable children and families (desirable)
