We're looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Sustainable Agriculture Officer to support a range of agriculture-related projects that promote environmental stewardship and long-term land productivity.

In this role you will: work directly with farmers and rural land managers to implement best-practice sustainable agriculture methods; collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders including government bodies, industry experts, and community groups; support education and outreach initiatives that drive adoption of environmentally responsible land management and contribute to the planning and delivery of projects focused on soil health, sustainable land management, biodiversity and climate resilience.

What you'll bring to the region: practical experience in agriculture, natural resource management, or a related field; a solid understanding of sustainable agriculture practices and emerging trends; strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a commitment to building meaningful partnerships across the community.
