Rate: Up to $40 per hour + super

Hours: 9am - 5pm, starting within the next week

The Role
This Industry Placement Coordinator role focuses on matching students to suitable placements, managing end-to-end communication, and building strong partnerships with placement providers. The role combines student-facing responsibilities with business development and administrative coordination.

The Duties

• Outbound calling and engage new placement providers
• Match students to relevant placement opportunities
• Coordinate all stages of the placement journey
• Maintain consistent communication with students and organisations throughout the placement process
• Work closely with other placement coordinators and team members nationally
• Use Excel and Microsoft Teams for tracking and communication
• Provide engaging group communications and updates to students
• Assist with general administrative tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, student-focused environment. You will bring a strong mix of communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills to the role, and ideally have some experience in education, psychology, counselling, or human services – although this is not essential.

• Strong communication with excellent written and verbal skills
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to your work
• Enjoy building relationships and providing meaningful support to students
• Have a collaborative mindset and work well across teams
• Ideally have previous experience in administration, sales, or business development
