Structural Engineer – Full Time Opportunity

Location: St Marys, NSW
Salary: $110K–$150K (based on experience)

Work Ready Recruitment is hiring an experienced Structural Engineer to support a leading carpentry business delivering commercial and infrastructure projects. This role plays a key part in the planning and execution of temporary structures, awnings, decking, and new builds.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and review structural drawings using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Support the design and delivery of temporary structures and new construction projects
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and external consultants to ensure structural solutions are safe, compliant, and delivered to the highest standard
• Assist with tenders, estimating, and material take-offs
• Coordinate with engineers, certifiers, and on-site teams
• Conduct site visits and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards

What We’re Looking For:
• Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ industry experience
• Strong skills in design and estimating software (e.g, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• White Card and a valid driver’s licence
