At YLZ Truck bodies, we're a fast-growing business that specializes in building truck and dog trailer combinations and we're seeking an experienced and hands on tradesperson to join our team in Pakenham, Victoria. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the final stages of truck and trailer body assembly, ensuring a high-quality finish on all our products.

We need someone who has a strong attention to detail and is ready to hit the ground running in a fast paced, tight knit crew.

Your role at YLZ Truck Bodies will include a wide variety of daily task such as:

Basic wiring of taillights and side markers

Fitting mud guards and truck accessories

Fitting electric and manual tarps

Accurate placement of stickers and stainless strips

Initially assisting and eventually fitting a range of PTOs and pumps to new and secondhand trucks

Routing air lines and hydraulic lines neatly and efficiently

Further responsibilities will include:

Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

Working and communicating with your team

Being on time and reliable

Jobs requirements are:

Past experience in the body building industry

Full rights to work in Australia

Reliable transport to and from work

Past hydraulic systems fit out experience is a huge bonus (but we're happy to train the right person)

Competence with hand and power tools

Forklift license also a bonus
