What you'll be doing

Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble bespoke metal components and structures

Operating various welding equipment and machinery to create individual artwork and projects

Performing layout, cutting, bending, rolling, finishing and assembling of metal parts

Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the fabrication process

Ensuring all work meets company quality standards and safety regulations

Collaborating with the wider team and management to deliver creative projects on time and to budget

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Metal Fabrication or Boilermaking, or equivalent demonstrable experience

Proficiency in operating welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, working with mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel and brass

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

A keen eye for safety and the ability to work in accordance with safe work practices

A team player who respects all staff equally
