About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Carpenter to join our dedicated team. As a key member of Bridgewater Home Maintenance, you'll travel to customers’ homes and businesses within the Adelaide Hills region, independently completing a variety of home maintenance tasks to a high standard. The length of these jobs can range from one hour to several days, offering diverse work.

Key Responsibilities

Independently complete a wide range of home maintenance tasks meeting customers’ expectations on time and quality.

Efficiently procure necessary materials for jobs as required.

Maintain accurate and thorough records of all work performed and materials used, utilising job management software.

Maintain vehicle and equipment in good order.

Liaise directly with clients to discuss job requirements and provide updates throughout the project.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in building maintenance and construction, particularly with a carpentry focus.

Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.

Excellent communication and customer service skills to build rapport with clients.

A full Australian driver's license.

Preferred Skills & Experience (Bonus Points):

A broad range of general home maintenance skills, including gyprocking, painting, decorating, roofing, and joinery, would be highly advantageous.

Experience with a diverse range of tools and equipment relevant to home maintenance.
