About the role

As an Area Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the existing Disability Employment Services program across one or more sites or branches and support the transition into a new program. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality employment support and wraparound services for people with disability.

You will be responsible to:

Inspire and lead high-performing site teams including Employment Consultants, At Work Support Consultants, Community Engagement Specialists, and Employer Relationship Managers

Drive contract performance and ensure compliance with all funding, audit, and reporting requirements

Build strong employer, community, and service provider partnerships to expand inclusive employment opportunities

Monitor caseload equity and provide coaching and development to frontline staff

Promote a positive, inclusive and values-aligned culture across your teams

This is a people-focused leadership role that blends operational oversight, stakeholder engagement and service delivery excellence.

About the team

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be part of a passionate leadership group focused on delivering impactful, person-centred programs. You’ll collaborate across teams and work alongside others in Employment Pathways, including Allied Health and community-based supports.

What you’ll receive

In addition to receiving a salary ranging between $82k - $97k + Super, you will have access to:

Up to $18,550 p.a. in salary packaging options to increase your fortnightly take-home pay

About you

You are a skilled people leader with a strong understanding of disability employment or similar community programs. You thrive in fast-paced, target-driven environments and bring a participant-first mindset to everything you do.

You will have:

Demonstrated success in managing service delivery across multiple sites

Strong people leadership skills

Strong understanding of disability employment programs, compliance and contractual KPIs

Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships with employers and local communities

A passion for inclusion and a drive to improve employment outcomes for people with disability.
