About the role

In this full-time role as Regional Manager in the current Disability Employment Services program, you will lead the delivery of the program in a designated geographical region. With branches located from Frankston through to Geelong you will lead, coach and mentor a team of Area Managers and provide strategic oversight to ensure the consistent, high-quality employment services for people with disability.

You will be responsible to:

Lead the delivery of employment services across multiple sites

Provide coaching, development, and performance support to Area Managers

Oversee compliance, risk management, workforce planning, and audit readiness

Develop and implement regional program performance plans aligned to contract KPIs

Build strategic employer and community partnerships to create inclusive opportunities

Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making

This is a dynamic, high-impact role that blends operational leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement.

About the team

Reporting directly to the Group Manager, Employment Pathways you will be part of the Employment Pathways Leadership Team that also includes Workforce Australia and Transition to Work. The DES team currently consists of ~60 dedicated people who are committed to person-centred, inclusive service delivery. Opendoor has a strategic initiative to reach more people with disability and growth plans are in place to achieve this.

About you

You’re an experienced people leader who thrives in complex, multi-site environments. You understand how to balance strategic planning with operational delivery, and you know how to bring out the best in your teams.

You will have:

Extensive experience leading regional or multi-site teams in Employment Services or similar programs

Deep understanding of contractual obligations, program governance, and performance management

Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build impactful partnerships

Proven ability to deliver on strategic initiatives and manage compliance at scale

A passion for creating inclusive opportunities and driving systemic improvement
