As a specialist in this area, you will lead the planning and delivery of aviation projects, acting as the client’s representative throughout the entire lifecycle.

The role requires deep technical knowledge, strategic stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in highly regulated, live operational environments.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager:

• Provide specialist project management expertise from project inception to completion.
• Coordinate approvals and stakeholder engagement with airport authorities, airlines, regulatory bodies, and government entities.
• Oversee design development, procurement strategy, contractor engagement, and delivery methodology.
• Manage project budgets, funding approvals, and financial reporting requirements.
• Act as the client’s representative throughout delivery phases, managing construction interfaces in live operational environments.
• Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with aviation safety, security, and compliance standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement across project systems and delivery frameworks.
• Conduct end of project/process review to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

The Individual:

• Proven experience with the delivery of aviation/terminal projects.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• 5-10 years project management experience, ideally coming from a client-side consultancy.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder groups including government bodies, airport operators, consultants, and contractors.
• Highly developed commercial, contractual, and risk management acumen.
• Exceptional communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
