We’re looking for a warm, motivated individual to join our team in a diverse dual role as a Childcare Cook and Early Childhood Trainee. You’ll keep our children nourished and healthy while working toward your early childhood qualification — all while being supported by a passionate and experienced team.

👩‍🍳 About the Role:

Cook meals and prepare snacks for up to 58 children (Monday to Friday)

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen in line with Food Safety regulations

Manage online ordering and stock rotation

Understand and cater for food allergies and dietary needs

Support educators and contribute to daily tasks in centre rooms while completing your traineeship

Build positive relationships with children and their families

✅ What You’ll Need:

A current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid (or willing to obtain)

Completed or willingness to complete a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Passion for food and cooking for children

A good understanding of nutrition and healthy eating

Previous experience in as a cook or kitchen hand (desired)

Willingness to learn and an open, positive attitude

Must be an Australian permanent resident

A caring nature and genuine interest in early childhood education
