The office is at 110 Sydney Road, Coburg. You will be involved as an accountant to multiple entities in a variety of industries.

We offer a Full-time position of Accountant General with competitive remuneration packages (Annual Earning of $78,000 to $85,000) plus applicable superannuation.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant General who can handle a fast-paced environment and report to the Business owners.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Financial Reporting and Analysis: You are responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. These reports provide vital insights into our financial performance, enabling informed decision-making by our management team and stakeholders.

Ensure accurate recording and timely reconciliation of all financial transactions, Supporting the accounting team in delivering accurate and timely month end reporting

Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Assist with the preparation of budgets and cost management, and provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax obligations

Audit Preparation and Support: You need to facilitate external audits by providing necessary documentation, conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with internal controls, and implementing corrective actions as needed. This proactive approach mitigates audit risks and enhances transparency and accountability within our organization.

Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as required

We prefer the candidate who possesses:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Outstanding Communicator.

Have strong accountant knowledge and skillsets.

Attention to detail and meticulous working attitude.

Competent English Level.

Self-motivated and willing to keep learning.

Experienced with Xero, Microsoft Office
