About the role:
Come join the Mitcham store to help others see and hear the world more clearly! We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join a collaborative and fun team who strive to provide the best outcomes for their patients. For this casual position we are looking for a team member who is available for shifts during week days in particular however you may be asked to work Thursday night and Weekend shifts when required.

You will be involved in all aspects of our customer's optometric journey:

Supporting our Optometrists and Audiologist with efficient pre-testing performed to a high level of standard

Offering customers frame styling advice

Dispensing glasses

Answering customer enquiries and booking appointments

Building strong rapport and creating a memorable customer journey

Skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have a rewarding career with Specsavers and possess the following skills and experience:

Optical experience is highly desired, however full optics training will be provided

Previous experience in a fast-paced retail/customer service environment

Excellent verbal and written skills with strong attention to detail

An ability to build genuine and supportive relationships with colleagues

An ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment

Have flexibility to work retail hours, which may include late nights and weekends
