We have casual and permanent part-time employment opportunities available. Our service is a 71-place centre, locally family-owned and operated, providing long day care and Kindergarten. We're conveniently located in the heart of Cranbourne, right opposite the Cranbourne train station. With over 13 years in the Cranbourne community, we pride ourselves on being a home away from home. Our service is filled with wonderful families, many of whom were referred by others.

FREE UNIFORM AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

REQUIREMENTS:

Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification.

Diploma or Certificate 3 of Early Childhood Education and Care or be wanting to commence traineeship in certificate 3 of early childhood education and care

Valid Working with Children Check

Knowledge and understanding of the child safe standards.

accredited child protection training.

Do Food Safely certificate

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

contribute to ensuring station house early years learning facilitates a play-based learning environment and develops learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, strengths and abilities that inspire independent learners

work with the Lead Educator to implement the successful planning, implementation and evaluation of a program for the service that is reflective of an approved learning framework; the Early Years Learning Framework

Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children

assist with the documentation of children’s developmental needs, interests, experiences and participation in the educational program in a variety of ways

create a safe, supportive, stimulating and educational environment for all children
