We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our experienced drafting department.

This is a fulltime position however we can negotiate hours for part time work for the right applicant.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Generating accurate quotes using our in-house software (RanFab).
Utilizing a range of software, such as Draftsight, Solidworks along with Microsoft, Factory.IO and other supporting programs.
Interacting with customers to understand their design requirements and ensure their needs are met.
Reading and interpreting technical drawing along with basic sketches.
Following work through from quote to delivery of the final product to ensure quality.
Collaborating closely with our experienced drafting team to gain knowledge and experience in CAD-based software, such as Draftsight, Solidworks.
Creating 2D & 3D models, producing technical manufacturing drawings, supporting documents and creating nests for laser cutting.
The preferred applicant should have, or be in the process of obtaining, the following qualifications and skills:
A qualification in design, drafting and/or engineering.
Knowledge and competency in design and/or drafting software, whether in a professional or personal capacity.
Experience in 2D and 3D modelling software (specifically Draftsight & Solidworks), experience in similar programs such Inventor, Fusion 360, Onshape, etc would also be beneficial.
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication.
Proven ability to work independently within a collaborative team.
A sense of humor.
