The role

As a Junior Graphic Designer at Pastel Pines, you will work closely with our small but mighty in-house design team to contribute to the development of both our in-house and private label brands. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with the team to create new packaging designs for our products, utilizing existing templates and conceptualizing new styles for upcoming launches.

Contribute to the creative development of the Pastel Pines brand, ensuring that all artwork aligns with our brand identity and maintains a consistent look and feel.

Manage priorities, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines while delivering artwork that meets the brief and exceeds expectations.

Utilise your expertise in designing EDMs (Electronic Direct Mail) on a regular and ongoing basis, ensuring engaging and visually appealing communication with our audience.

Create POS material and seasonal promotions when required.

Manage the social media posts for the brand.

Skills & Experience

Experience in graphic design, preferably in packaging design, utilisation of die lines and treatments of packaging e.g. Spot UV, Foiling etc.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign (Mac or Windows)

Ability to create barcodes.

Ability to understand briefs from the design team and make them a reality.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Experience in photo retouching and/or video editing would be beneficial.

Knowledge of e-commerce and social media platforms.

Experience in EDM design is necessary.
