About the role

We are seeking an experienced auditor to join our Gold Coast team of auditors. With growth in our audit team and audit client base we seek a motivated individual that is looking for the next career move to work alongside the audit partner to manage the team and deliver our excellent portfolio of audit clients.

Your role and responsibilities

• Responsible for leading and completing audits ensuring delivery of service to professional standards and completion of work to meet client deadlines.
• Building and leading the audit team including coaching and training the team members.
• Working alongside the audit partner to implement and develop good practices and efficiencies in the overall management of the audit firm.
• Maintaining and developing existing client relationships.
• Being an integral part of the audit firm providing mentorship and guidance to the team.

Skills and experience

Please only submit your expression of interest if you have the following experience and qualifications:

• CA or CPA Qualified.
• You will have over 5 years significant audit experience in external auditor roles.
• Demonstrated experience of managing an audit team.
• Demonstrated experience of managing an audit client base including mentoring and training junior staff.
• Demonstrated understanding of the use of Caseware.
• Eligible to work in Australia.
• Motivated with excellent communication skills.
