About the role

Apex Services Australia is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our clients in the Perth WA 6000 area. What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' speech, language, and communication needs

Develop and implement personalised therapy plans to help clients achieve their communication goals

Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care

Provide education and support to clients and their families on speech and language development

Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working as a Speech Pathologist in a clinical setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop tailored therapy plans

Proficiency in the use of speech and language assessment tools and therapy techniques

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
